Comments:  I teach from my home location and offer piano lessons for preschool and school aged students. Flute I offer beginning at the 4th grade through upper school aged students. Students who come to me have access to a lending library, audio library, midi and theory computer labs and classical lessons in performance literature and technique. These lessons are 30 minutes, once a week. Lessons are paid by the month, per student. My current monthly rate is $80.00 per student. Students in preschool must complete a preschool lesson readiness screening before enrolling for lessons. Students who are experienced with their instrument and who are seeking a new teacher will be asked to audition prior to their enrollment for proper placement into the program and curriculum used. I also have the ability to accept students on line via webcam from any mainland US state for instruction on flute or piano. For these students I have a web resource page available to enrich and help them expand upon their lessons and what they are learning. On line instruction is done live with me, not a pre recorded video like the majority of online sites offering lessons. Students can get instant feedback and help as needed in learning through sound and text. Online lessons are billed each quarter in the amount of $100 per student. Online lessons meet weekly. Student is required to have a web cam that can send/receive both video and sound AND they are required to have an AOL AIM account on their computer for online instruction. ALL INSTRUCTION, whether done in person or via web cam is individualized to the student's strengths and abilities with curriculum selected to match those abilities with students.
